Behavior of Inelastic and Plastic Strains in Coarse-Grained Ti49.3Ni50.7(at%) Alloy Deformed in B2 States

The regularities of the change in inelastic strain coarse-grained samples Ti49.3Ni50.7 (at%) alloy are studied when given torsional state high-temperature B2 phase. During cooling and heating, investigated underwent B2–B19′ martensite transformation (MT); temperature end reverse MT was Af = 273 K. It found that at isothermal cycles “loading-unloading” + 8 K, specimen is assigned a 4%, effect superelasticity observed. With an increase strain, shape memory clearly manifested. assumed stabilization B19′ phase unloaded due to appearance dislocations during deformation high internal stresses interphase boundaries MT. loading near temperatures forward can also be facilitated by “softening” elastic moduli this range. At test above 26 dominates samples.
